Your formatting is ambiguous. Is the equation any of the following?

. . . . .$\mbox{a) }\, a\, =\, \frac{\sqrt{2}b}{c}$

. . . . .$\mbox{b) }\, a\, =\, \frac{\sqrt{2b}}{c}$

. . . . .$\mbox{c) }\, a\, =\, \sqrt{\frac{2b}{c}}$

Or something else? Thank you!

It is c. But it needs to be solved for "b".

Thanks...

So you need to solve the following for the variable "b":

. . . . .$a\, =\, \sqrt{\frac{2b}{c}}$

You can learn the general process for solving radical equations in this lesson and for solving literal equations in this other lesson.

The first step in this case is to square both sides of the equation.
