### simplify division w/exponents

hi, I am a little unsure what to head this under, just a quick question (I'm 40 and haven't taken Algebra in years!). The problem is (2ab2)3/(2a3b)2=? (the second 2 and 3 are exponents...on the bottom, the 1st 3 and second 2 are exponents). I answered 2b4/a3. Could someone please tell me if I am right? If I am, I'll be so happy. : ) Thanks!

So the expression is as follows?

. . . . .$\frac{\left(2ab^2\right)^3}{\left(2a^3b)^2}$

. . . . .Formatting Math as Text

So your simplified form is as follows?

. . . . .$\frac{2b^4}{a^3}$
