simplify the sums, add two more lines, make a conjecture

Simplify the following sums:
1
1+8
1+8+27
1+8+27+64
Add two more lines to the list, and make a conjecture about the sums you obtained.

So i simplified and got:
1
9
36
100
but i dont know what to do with this!!! :confused: :shock:

1 = 1^3
8 = 2^3
27 = 3^3
64 = 4^3

1 = 1^2
9 = 3^2 (3 = 1 + 2)
36 = 6^2 (6 = 1 + 2 + 3)
100 = 10^2 (10 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4)

so the next 2 numbers would be 5^3,6^3? and th formula would be (1+2+3+4+5)^2,(1+2+3+4+5+6)^2? :roll:
