I need help on this problem, the substitution method, having a gard time understanding it please help!
x=8-4y
3x+5y=3

One of the equations is already solved for one of the variables, so the thing to substitute is set up for you. Which part of the process are you havng trouble understanding?

When you reply, please show your work so far, starting from your substitution from the first equation into the second, so we can "see" where you're needing help. Thank you! :wink:
