1/4=3-2x-1/(x+2)

The LCD is 4(x+2)
where do I go from here?

So it would be 4(x+2)1/4=4(x+2)3-2x-1/x+2 ?

no. your supposed to mutliply it on ALL terms:

(1/4)(4(x+2)) = 3(4(x+2)) - 2x(4(x+2)) - 1(4(x+2))/(x+2)

then cancel & solve
