1) 17-x = 41
17-x + x =41+x = 17-41= 41-41+x= x= -24 Is this correct?
2) -(6-3)^5
-(3)^5 = -(3^5) = -243 Is this corrrect?
3)14-3^5 ÷ 3x3^3
14-243 ÷ 3x27
14-81x27=
14-2187= -2173 Is this correct?

Try using the pre tags to enclose and line up your work more neatly.
1)
17-x = 41
-17 -17 <-- subtract 17 from both sides of equation
-x = 24 <-- leaves you with this
*(-1) *(-1) <-- convert x to positive by multiplying each by -1
x = -24
17-(-24) = 41 ?? <-- check answer ...true??
Your other two answers look correct to me.
