Hi,

I'm just learning about logs and this question has me stumped:

Simplify: log a^x

How do I solve this and what rules do you apply to solve it???

They were supposed to have covered the rules for expanding logs before assigning questions like this.

To learn, try here.

Note: I am assuming that your formatting means "log(ax)" and not "logx(a)".
