### Solving Radical Equations

I'm having trouble solving basic Radical Equations and was wondering if somebody could give me step by step instructions and explanations on how to do this.
Example: K + 2K = -5
6 3 2

### Re: Solving Radical Equations

I don't see any radicals. What I see is:

$\mbox{Example: }\underline{K}+\underline{2K} = \underline{-5}\\6\,3\,2$

If you don't know how to insert equations, could you use sqrt(stuff) to indicate $\sqrt{stuff}$? Thanks!
