## Find the conjugate of complex number

### Find the conjugate of complex number

My question is that how can i find the conjugate of complex number that does not have the imaginary number or the real number part ? Do we just need to change the sign of the imaginary part in the complex number in form of a + bi to find its conjugate ?

if $z=a+bi$

then the complex conjugate of z is

$\bar{z}=a-bi$

Is the real number like "-2" is a complex number ?
If so, What is the conjugate of "-2" ?

$\bar{-2}=-2$

Add: you can always write any real number c as c+0i
