Please help me how to solve this.

Find the value of 'm' for which x2+3xy+x+my-m has two linear factors in x and y with integer coefficients.

One might start with the polynomial multiplication which generated the given polynomial. Since you are given that the factors were linear and since there is no y^2 term, then the factors must be of the form x + ay + b and x + c. What can one find upon comparison of coefficients?
