I want to know what math topics are to be learnt if you're doing the HSC exams. For example:

Sketch the graph of y – 2x =3, showing the intercepts on both axes.

Solve (5x-4)/x = 2

Solve l x+1 l = 5

Find the gradient of the tangent to the curve y = x^4 -3x at the point (1,-2)

etc.

To learn what is required on "HSC" exams, you will need to consult with someone familiar with what those are. Your school's guidance counsellor, for instance, might have useful information.
