they show how here: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/workprob.htmHow would I do the following work word problem?

do like they show:Tom and Sam can finish a plowing job in two hours. Tom working alone can do the job in 7 hours. How long would it take Sam to finish the same job alone?

hours to complete:

together: 2

tom: t=7

sam: s

done per hour:

together: 1/2

tom: 1/t = 1/7

sam: 1/s

assume they can add their work so: 1/2 = 1/7 + 1/s

solve for s.
