equidistant point on x-axis from (12, 6) and (8, 2)  TOPIC_SOLVED

Solve for the following problems.

Ok Iam confused here what iam i supposed to do? Can someone please do the first problem for me and i will try to figure out the rest?

The point on the x-axis that is equidistant (equal distance) from (12,6) and (8,2)

Hint: If the point on the x-axis, (x, 0), is equidistant from the two listed points, then what can you say about the expressions that the Distance Formula will give you? :wink:
