...multiply and simplify 7a^7/5p^2 - 25p^6/49a
What you've posted means the following:

. . . . .$\frac{7a^2}{5p^2}\, -\, \frac{25p^6}{49a}$

But this is a subtraction, not a multiplication.

$\frac{7a^2}{5p^2}\cdot \frac{-25p^6}{49a}$
$\frac{7a^2}{5p^2}\cdot \frac{-25p^6}{49a}$
