eqns for relationship between height H and femur length F

the following eqns exptess the relationship between a person's height (H) and femur bone length (F) in inches.

Male: H = 27.5 + 2.24F
Female: H = 24 + 2.32F

What do the numbers 2.24 and 2.32 tell you about the relationship between femur length and height for males and females?

Hint: Think about the meaning of "slope" (as a rate of change) in the context of this exercise. :wink:
