How do I solve for y? I got how to solve for x, but can not figure out how to solve for y.
Problem: Y(squared)+4x-6y=-1 help! I could not find how to square the y sorry.

Suppose you had been given the following:

$\mbox{Solve for y: }\, y^2\, -\, 6y\, +\, 4\, =\, -1$

How would you proceed? (Hint: Quadratic Formula.)

In this case, you have been given the following:

$\mbox{Solve for y: }\, y^2\, -\, 6y\, +\, 4x\, =\, -1$

Use the same method.
