Completing the Square.

So I have a question, if I am correctly doing this.

My teacher wants us to only use COMPLETING THE SQUARE.

Can't use the quadratic.

4x^2-8x-20=24

To make sure I did it correctly, can you guys try it out and see if you got this?

x=4+ or - 4 square root 15?

You can check your answer yourself by using the Quadratic Formula! :thumb:

(I get something else, though. If you get something else when you use the Formula, maybe you could show your steps?)
