Finding the horizontal distance

Hey everyone, I hope this is in the right spot...For some odd reason this was never covered in my book so I'm not quite sure what to do with it. (that happens quite a lot actually... :shock: )

Given the diagram below, find the horizontal distance AB.

Where will the horizontal line y = 2 intersect the line y = (2/3)x - 2?

What is the distance between this point and the point at A? :wink:
