### Help factoring in the simplest form

Good morning everyone,

I have a little issue with factoring.. I encountered an exercice in my test and would need some help to understand how to "express in simplest form":
((3((x+1)^(1/2))-5((x+1)^(-1/2)))/(x+1)

..."express in simplest form":
((3((x+1)^(1/2))-5((x+1)^(-1/2)))/(x+1)
its kind of hard to read this for sure
is it like this?
$\dfrac{3\, \sqrt{ x\, +\, 1\,}\, -\, \dfrac{5}{\sqrt{ x\, +\, 1\,}}}{x\, +\, 1}$
i dont know how your book means "simplest" for this
prob start w/ common denom:
$\dfrac{\dfrac{3\, (x\, +\, 1)}{\sqrt{x\, +\, 1}}\, -\, \dfrac{5}{\sqrt{x\, +\, 1}}}{x\, +\, 1}$
$\dfrac{\left(\dfrac{3x\,+\, 3\, -\, 5}{\sqrt{x\, +\, 1}}\right)}{x\, +\, 1}$
simplify
then flip and cancel out
