### need help with 20m^9 n^2 /(divided by) 5m^4 n^6

The first one i need help with. 20m^9 n^2 /(divided by) 5m^4 n^6

The second one.
7x^6y^3....-3x^2y
---------- X ---------
5xy^2....... 6x^2y^2

Hope someone can help!

I will guess that you mean the following:

. . . . .$\frac{20 m^9 n^2}{5 m^4 n^6}$

I will guess that you mean the following:

. . . . .$\left( \frac{7 x^6 y^3}{5 x y^2} \right) \times \left( \frac{-3 x^2 y}{6 x^2 y^2} \right)$

What were the instructions for these exercises? What have you tried? How far have you gotten? Or do you need lessons first?

Thank you!

What were the instructions for these exercises?

I've done two things with this stuff: Either they give you numbers to plug in for the letters, or else you have to cancel stuff off as it is and you end up with variables. Are you supposed to do one of those for these?

If you have to do the second thing, then the first one is easy. 20/5 is 4, there are five extra m's on top, and four extra n's on the bottom. The second one is a little longer but not much harder.
