The first step in solving quadratic equations is usually to move everything together onto one side of the "equals" sign, so do that first. Then divide through by the common factor of "2".

You can then apply the Quadratic Formula, or whatever other method(s) you prefer, to find the solution(s) to the equation. :wink:
