Ordered Pair is a Solution of the equation..

I need help with this equation 5x+2y=26. How do you find the ordered pair solution?

The question should perhaps better be stated "How does one find an order-pair solution?", because there are infinitely-many such solutions! Every point on the line is a "solution" to the equation! :wink:

To "find" a solution, you pick an x-value (any number you like), plug it into the equation, and solve to find the corresponding y-value. That (x, y) point is a "solution". :D
