The first term in a series of numbers is 50. Each subsequent term is 1/2 the term before it if it was even. or 1/2 rounded up to the next whole number if it is odd. What is the 3rd number in this sequence?

i dont get this. so, the second number is 45, and the third is 1/2 x 45= 22.5, which would be close to b) 24?

How are you getting that half of fifty is forty-five?
