We are working on inequalities (graphing solving and absolute value), and coin problems and i am having a lot of trouble with both of them, i have been studying a lot, but still dont quite get them and we have a test on friday!

if there is anyway you can help by tips, or showing me were to get good practice problems, that would really help me

we are doing problems like these:

1: -5x+3>8 or 2x - 6 >4 solve it and graph it

2: {x:-2+x<4} U {x:3x>12} solve and graph

3: 4x + 31>11-x and 3x - (-x-1) < 7 solve and graph

4: 2Ix+4I > 12 solve and graph

5: 7I3x+5I - 4 I3x+2I = 0 (dont get this one) - i know you usually subtract the 2 absoulte values - but these arent equal!

6: Nick L. has a pockatful of nickels, dimes, and quarters. He has 4 more nickels then quarters and 4 more dimes than nickels. The total value of all hi coins is $6.60 How many of each coin does he have?

Also every so often we have these

7: find all value of x for which the perimeter of the rectangle is less then 18

base = 2x-3

height= x-2

THANKS!
