I need someone to explain the division properties of Polynomials to me Example: (z^2 + 7z + 11) / (z +5)

I know how to Multiply, Add, & Subtract Polynomials but division is getting me stuck. Thanks.

You could do this in either one of two ways: synthetic division or polynomial long division.

I did this one in several seconds using synthetic division and got z + 2 + 1/(z + 5)
