Hi Everyone! I'm helping my little brother with his math homework, and it's been a long time since I did this. I'm really stumped on these two and would love some fresh eyes. TIA

1.x^2 –4x – 4

2.2x^3 - 8x^2 + 2x

Factor the following trinomials.
1.x^2 –4x – 4

2.2x^3 - 8x^2 + 2x


You can learn about factoring quadratic expressions here.

Hint for the second question: factor an x out of all terms -- then you will be left with another quadric to factor.
