So you're supposed to be graphing y = |x| - 4...?Hi. Were learning about graping Absolute Value equations and how its always supposed to end up in a V-shape. on this problem it didn't work right...

y=abolute value of x -4.

(the absolute value bar is ONLY around the x, the - 4 is outside it)

You

*should*have gotten a V-shaped graph. What did you get instead? Also, what were your plot-points, including the negative values for x?

Thank you!
