0 to 0 power?

In one of the problems i was solving, i came across 0⁰. What do i do with this since anything to 0 power is 1 but 0 to any power is 0...

That will vary with the context and the rules you've been given. It is my understanding that, in some contexts, the value is "defined" (declared) to be 1. Most, though, say that the value is "indeterminate" (unclear) or "undefined" (can't be given rules that make sense).
