## Help with Algebra 2: solve (-2)[-3 - 4 - 5 - 2^3 - (-1)]

im not sure how to solve this problem. or like problems. Obviously my knowledge is not in algebra or its theories.
If you can help me understand and help with step by step problem solving i would greatly appreciate it.

Since you are unable to get started, I will guess that you are needing help with exponents, negative numbers, the order of operations, and simplifying with parentheses, each of which is necessary for this exercise. So the first step is to learn these topics.

. . . . .The Order of Operations

. . . . .Simplifying with Parentheses

Once you have studied the above, please attempt the exercise. If you get stuck, you can then reply with a clear listing of your steps and reasoning, starting something like:

. . . . .$-2(-3\, -\, 4\, -\, 5\, -\, 2^3\, -\, (-1))$

. . . . .$-2(-3\, -\, 4\, -\, 5\, -\, 8\, +\, 1)$
