(10-46) div by 6 x (-3)-(-6)(-9)(-1) i keep coming up with +56 as the answer, but that isnt 1 of the choices. where am i going wrong? choices were -108,72,-36,36 help tia

First, review the order of operations. Once you are familiar with that, the following should make some sense. (In what follows, I am assuming that only the "-6" after the "div by" is in the denominator, and that the "x" isn't actually a variable.)

. . . . .$\left(\frac{10\, -\, 46}{6}\right)\, \times \,(-3)\, -\, (-6)(-9)(-1)}$

. . . . .$\left(\frac{-36}{6}\right)\, \times\, (-3)\, -\, (-54)$

. . . . .$-\frac{6}{1}\, \times\, (-3)\, +\, 54$

...and so forth.
