(10-46) div by 6 x (-3)-(-6)(-9)(-1) my ans not 1 of choices

(10-46) div by 6 x (-3)-(-6)(-9)(-1) i keep coming up with +56 as the answer, but that isnt 1 of the choices. where am i going wrong? choices were -108,72,-36,36 help tia

In future, please note that we cannot help you find errors in work that we cannot see. Please show your steps. :wink:

First, review the order of operations. Once you are familiar with that, the following should make some sense. (In what follows, I am assuming that only the "-6" after the "div by" is in the denominator, and that the "x" isn't actually a variable.)
