if you buy lean ground beef from store A at $2.99/kg and at store B @ $0.34/100g
which store is cheaper.

there are 1000 g in 1 kg
convert the units to the same thing like .34/100g=3.4/1000g=$3.40/1kg (by times 10 on both)
then compare
