Median, Mode and Range

Postby keegle on Thu Sep 17, 2009 12:18 am

This is a two part question.

My dilemma is; in the example below if a number or value is repeated are we counting the repeat in the list for solving the Median?

92, 99, 99, 106, 99, 97

If not and the list has an even set of values, can there be a Median as in the list below as there is no middle value?

92, 97, 99, 106

Yes, you have to include all of the data points when doing your computations!

The median of an even number of values is the mean of the two middle values.
