interpreting a Table

Postby mosbey 1969 » Thu Jun 18, 2009 3:24 pm

I need help on how to find to the nearest tenth of a percent when interpreting a table. How do you get the percentage?

example: 305,000,000 of the world's 6,429,000,000 people live in North America. How do you figure the percentage?

To learn how to interpret, set up, and solve "percent of" word problems, try here.

To learn how to round, try here.
