## Dividing exponents: (6x^5y^2z^-4)/(4x^-2y^4z^-1)

### Dividing exponents: (6x^5y^2z^-4)/(4x^-2y^4z^-1)

I am having a terrible time understanding how to divide exponents. I think that I am thinking too hard and making this harder than what it is. How would you go about solving " (6x^5y^2z^-4)/(4x^-2y^4z^-1) " I have a few problems that are like this, all dealing with dividing exponents that are both positive and negitive.
