L=2.43*W^0.3326, The weight is in pounds if 1 to 1.5 pounds, length is 14-20 inches. I understand that it is L=2.43 x 1 but what does ^ this mean?

L=2.43*W^0.3326$\Rightarrow L=2.43\cdot W^{0.3326}$
