Sabrina is a sprinter who has a running stride of about 150cm.
Approximately how many strides would Sabrina take to run a 400m race.

How many centimeters are in one meter? (Refresh here if you've forgotten.)

So how many centimeters are in four hundred meters? (Hint: Multiply.)

Then how many sets of 150 centimeters are in four hundred meters? (Hint: Divide.) :wink:

there is 100 cm in 1 meter.
150cm = 1.5m
1.5 * 400 = 600

150cm = 1.5m
1.5 * 400 = 600

I'm not sure what you're calculating here...? Since "1.5" stands for the meters in one stride-length, and since "400" stands for the number of meters in the race, you have calculuated a value of 600 m2/(stride-length-race). I don't know what that might mean...?

Instead, try following the step-by-step instructions, provided earlier. :wink:
