## lcm of 2 exponents: lcm of (3^19, 3^257)

### lcm of 2 exponents: lcm of (3^19, 3^257)

Hi i was wondering how to find the lcm of (3^19, 3^257) i know you have to get the smallest multiple of both i believe the answer is 3 as this appears to be a trick problem

Are you finding the LCM of the numbers 3^19 and 3^257, of 19 and 257, or of 3 and 3?

$LCM(3^{\tiny{19}},3^{\tiny{257}})=3^{\tiny{257}}$
