I am looking for a solution for this:
A Ferris wheel has a radius of 36.6 feet. The bottom of the Ferris wheel sits 0.6 feet above the ground. You board the Ferris wheel at the 6 o'clock position and rotate counter-clockwise.

a. Define a function,

the radius is 36.6; what is the amplitude?
the bottom is 0.6 above ground; w/ the amplitude, what is the center line?
the rotation is the usual way for trig fcns on the unit circle
you start at the bottom (the lowest height); which trig fcn (sine or cosine) better fits this?
