Hello can someone please help me with this identity problem? I'm in a jam and need it for tomorrow. Thank you.

Cos(theta)/(cos(theta)sin(theta))=1/(1-tan(theta))

Cos(theta)/(cos(theta)sin(theta))=1/(1-tan(theta))

Cos(theta)/(cos(theta)sin(theta))=1/(1-tan(theta))

What have you done so far? I'd start with the RHS and convert to sin's and cos's. (Use "@" for "theta".)

tan(@) = sin(@)/cos(@)

1-tan(@) = 1-sin(@)/cos(@) = cos(@)/cos(@)-sin(@)/cos(@)

etc, etc, & so forth. What do you get?
