There are two masses. Mass A is 0.2 kilograms, and is resting on a 30-degree slope. Mass B is 0.3 kilograms, and is hanging past the end of the slope from an inextensible string which passes over a smooth pulley.
Find the acceleration, a, of the particles when released from rest.
"T" is the tension in the string. Then
0.3g - T = 0.3a
T - 0.2g * sin(30 degrees) = 0.2a
But the answer doesn't match the back of the book. What did I do wrong?
