!.) Okay I have an issue I have an endpoint of (-3,4) and a midpoint of (-1,2). What is the formula to find out the other end point? My teacher had shown me a way of doing it without the formula but it's bothering me that I don't know the correct formula for it.
2.) My second part to this is I have a question that has multiple choice answers. I need to find the 'x' of a leg on a right triangle.
I know the Pythagorean Theorem a^2+b^2=c^2. My issue is it's in fractions and I've never done this. I keep getting the wrong answer. Leg A is 1/2, Leg b is 'x' and the hypotenuse is 1 3/10.
The answers are:
a.) 1
b.) 1 1/5
c.) 1 3/5
d.) 2
I keep getting 1 11/25. Please Help. I would so greatly appreciate it.
