What does that postulate say? (Unfortunately, geometry terms, after thousands of years, do not yet seem to have been standardized, so I don't want to assume or guess at anything. Please let me know what

do i do like terms first...?
That is usually the first step. So rearrange to get 2x + x + 10 - 4 = 21, simplify, and proceed from there.
