finding a simple solution to (-8)^(4/3)  TOPIC_SOLVED

Hi,

I got this to find the answer:

(-8) with a 4/3 exponent

The answer in the book says 16, but i dont understand what to do to and how to achieve 16 as a result. Can someone help me and explain how you get to 16.

I need help understanding the result of z(z-17)(Z+2)=0  TOPIC_SOLVED

Ok, i got this equation: z(z-17)(Z+2)=0 That the manual gives this as an answer: -2, 0, 17. MY problem, is how do you achieve this. Where do I start. What is the chain of operations.
