Greetings, I'm having some problems, obviously, with some of my math work. There's a few different ones so hopefully this will all make sense... Any help would be appreciated. 1. Evaluate the function for the given values: f(x) = 5 -3x; x = -4, 2 I'm not sure where to go with that one. I'd a...

Finding Solutions and Graphing F(X)  TOPIC_SOLVED

Greetings, Hello again. I've got a few more questions this week. I've got another worksheet of problems and I need to graph them, however with these types of problems I'm not really sure how to convert the answers into something I can graph. I'm also not too sure about the f(x) thing, which I'm not ...

Re: Finding Solutions and Graphing F(X)  TOPIC_SOLVED

Alright, so I'm just trying to make sure I understand the f(x) thing, with graphing it, too. So for a problem with f(x) I'd just substitute f(x) with three different numbers and solve the problem? Here's an example, so I can see if I'm understanding it... f(x)=x^2-6x+4 X=1, 2, 3 1=1^2-6(...

Re:  TOPIC_SOLVED

Thank you for your help. You've actually been the kindest and most understanding person in the few places I posted my questions. The other two forums just basically insulted me for not being able to solve the problems myself. What method(s) did they give you for finding the value of e ? (If none, th...
