Re: How to convert 6512 base 10, to octal?  TOPIC_SOLVED

I use reminder method to convert decimal numbers to hexadecimal or octal.
6512 / 8 = 814 --- reminder: 0
814 / 8 = 11 --- reminder: 6
11 / 8 = 1 --- reminder: 3
1 / 8 = 0 --- reminder:1
result: 1360
But, when i use calculator, 814 / 8 = 101.75; instead of 11. Why?
With calculator, result is 14560.

Do you mean number of elements of set A x B ?
If it's ---> your answer is 6 elements
