...The way I like to teach science is to do it using projects made from everyday materials to illustrate scientific concepts. I've found that is a good way to make science clear and easy to understand. One of the projects I've developed is the "Tightrope Snowman": a balancing snowman made from Styrofoam and screwdrivers, which I use in teaching the principle of center of gravity. (read more)
