...The methodologies used in schools differs just as widely as does the approaches of the individual teachers who may or may not view math as their strength. Some children just find themselves overwhelmed with the task of mastering basic elementary math. ...I have tutored for many years in the past part time, as it a hobby of mine! A little secret about me is I really struggled with math in high school, but I was able to excel in it at college. Also, prior to my graduate degree, I had very minimal knowledge in the human body, but I finished my degree with a 4.0. (read more)
