Barbara L. ...That means that a student must be able to sequence five items before he has the capacity to learn phonetically. So, if a person is weak sequentially he can study phonics forever but never catch on to reading. Its like the proverbial “beating your head against the wall.” The typical dyslexic struggles because his left brain, which is the side that sequences things, is weak.
