I used to have/run my own laboratory, focusing on changes in protein phosphorylation and its potential role in brain disorders such as schizophrenia, drug addiction and Alzheimer's disease. A few years ago I became a mother and I chose to close my laboratory and not work full time as a scientist any more.

My degree is in linguistics, and I specialize in historical linguistics, i.e. how languages change and interact over time. I use my knowledge of English, French, Italian, and Aramaic to inform my knowledge of Latin.

Anthony S. ...As a math major, I took this course in college and received high marks. I also apply the concepts of differentiation all the time in tutoring calculus, and have very high success in it. I have taken prerequisite courses in linear algebra as well as classes after the course.
