...Mathematics is incredibly useful! Just ask any computer scientist, any Wall-Street professional, any economist, and statistician, etc... I find that this a failure of American culture as a whole. My wish is to show students how math is more than what they believe it to be, and to leave them with the ability to use a mathematical mindset to tackle a huge variety of problems. (read more)
